Hiking
The dramatic landscape of the El Port Natural Park extends between Catalonia, Valencia and Aragon, and covers an area of approximately 60,000 hectares. The majestic limestone massifs are filled with steep cliffs, deep gorges, forests and rich wildlife.
Greenway (cycling)
The Val de Zafán is a 45km trail which follows the route of the now defunct railway line and offers breath-taking views of Els Ports mountain range and river Canaleta and its surrounding landscape. The route is divided into two sections. We recommend starting the trail from Cretas and finishing in Xerta, as the trail is easier from the start, however the Greenway can be completed in either direction.

Bird watching or birding is a fascinating pastime enjoyed by vast numbers of people around the world. It’s a hobby that’s growing in popularity here as more people discover the joy that watching birds can bring. Bird watching has something to offer everybody.
Canyoning
Headed towards the nearby town of Horta de Sant Joan (Tarragona), where an exciting activity canyoning through Canaleta river. The activity takes place with a minimum of 3 participants. Descending Canaleta river is ideal for beginners, as it has no technical difficulty, and has a variety of canyoning elements such as jumps at different heights, slides, potholes, underwater pass, narrow slots and blockfields.
